Electric Scooter City will be celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. We started in the spring of 2004 at the Royal Bakery across from Meredith College. We spent four year there, five years across from the Bell Tower, and now we’re at Seaboard Station. We haven’t changed much in 10 years, except our primary focus now is Electric Bicycles instead of Electric Scooters.
Our sales of Electric Bikes have increased every year for the past 4-5 years and people have discovered so many practical applications for hybrid bicycles that have an electric motor. It’s a worldwide growth and that has led to better design, better batteries, and better integration of all the electronic parts onto better bicycles. The controls are much more user friendly.
We encourage everyone to come in to see what these bikes can do. All of our electric bicycles are available for test rides. We have a couple rental bikes that could be rented for the weekend for extended rides on the Greenways and wherever you normally go bike riding.
